Jon & Amber: Married! 9-22-12

I met Amber at an event I was a part of, she actually won my free wedding photography prize that I had a drawing for. It turned out great for her as she wasn't able to afford a wedding photographer and yet REALLY wanted a professional. This bride was amazing to work with, super sweet and so down to earth.

This country bride is all tom boy (just like me!) They knew how to throw a, as her aunt put it "Upper Class Hill Billy" wedding. Haha Can you tell I had a lot of fun with this group? It by no means looked hill billy! This wedding was creative in all the little details. This was my first out door wedding as well as my first themed wedding. The theme was Mad Hatter's tea party from Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burtons version). There were top hats, tea pots, wood stumps and wooden signs. All rustic yet elegant and "magical" what an experience for me as a wedding photographer to capture!

Thanks Amber and Jon for letting us be a part of your wedding! Congratulations!

And Finally from this wedding we were able to attempt our first sparkler photography. I've been practicing it at home with flashlights and now it was time to put it to the test! I was pretty happy with a couple of the results.... This truly added to the magic of their wedding.

Attempting to spell Love, got pretty close.
